The APG Recruitment Process

The success of APG’s many years in business has come from its ability to supply high-quality staff with the right attitude and aptitude to compliment the skills and experience required for your position.

Our rigorous recruitment process ensures that the right candidates, thoroughly screened and verified by us, are put recommended for any labour hire or recruitment position you need to fill. Our staff induction process for contract staff includes:

  • An explanation of what the business does and how their role fits into the organisation
  • The new employee’s duties and responsibilities
  • A specific reporting structure they will work within
  • An outline of the working environment including uniforms, hours of work, breaks, flex days, use of vehicles, leaves entitlements
  • An on-site tour of where the worker will be
  • WH&S training
  • An introduction to colleagues and management

Part of our induction also includes administration procedures and advice, and assistance for workers in relation to income and superannuation, details of procedures and their contract of employment. Our rigorous recruitment and induction process helps cut down on the number of candidates who leave after only a few hours as they are not well suited to the workplace or specific role.
